It not only allows the user to search (by song name, film, period) but also create playlists and share their playlists with their friends and family via an in-app-purchase (IAP). "We want users to select songs by moods, themes, singers, films, actors, any combinations and share their selections with their friends and families. All their selections will be stored on our servers and available from any device on-demand. Consumers can access this feature for a very small in-app-purchase" - Mr. Jha indicated.

"Filmi Filmy" is currently available on the Apple App Store but will be available for Android Play Store and Windows Store soon, according to the company. The company is also looking to launch similar apps around music for all other Indian languages and even western music. The company is promoting the app with the tag line "why listen when you can watch."

Paiksha claimed that their first app "inTube" has over 25,000 downloads from over 75 countries and is used by the Indian diaspora to catch up on free movies. Its Indian news app "inNews" is also seeing strong traction across Indian diaspora. Speaking on this, Mr. Jha said. "This year, we will continue to invest in making the apps better and market them aggressively. We are also looking to launch an app for regional books and magazines this year" he indicated.

Players can compete individually or in a tournament. Individually players can compete for the best score on the Game Center leaderboard. Alternatively, players can compete in tournaments with friends and other players world wide with Next Peer tournaments.

Counter-surveillance iPhone app Catchr released

Nordlogic Software today introduces Catchr 1.0.0 for iOS, the first iPhone application that allows users to detect if their phone has been used by somebody else while out of sight. Shaw held up the BGA's "Rescuing Illinois Project" as a shining example of the association's impact. In 2012, the BGA uncovered $265 million in taxpayer-funded payouts to retired public school employees for unused sick and vacation days.
